This list is unmoderated, which is good and bad. The bad comes with
spam like was just received yesterday. Hopefully it will be possible
to reset the posting rules so that new members will be moderated until
such time as we can be sure they are serious about the group topic -
spammers typically join groups just to send out some annoying or
offensive stuff, so this is an easy way to block them.
The really bad news is that if nothing is done, it will certainly get
worse. One of the reasons I haven't publicized this group is the
concern that it might attract spammers sooner. Well, they find you
eventually.
