The spams have been deleted and the posting parameters changed so that
new members are moderated when they first join (that can be turned
off). Other than that there are no changes.

Mwangi wa Mutahi (the group owner) accorded me moderator status to
handle some aspects. I expect that over the longer run that baton will
pass from me to others but for now I'm glad to help in this way.

I should mention that since Mwangi is in Kenya and apparently does not
always have easy access to the internet, running a group like this is
bound to pose difficulties.
