The Nigerian-born author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie "who chronicled her homeland's wrenching conflicts" is one of this year's recipients of the MacArthur Foundation "Genius Grants."

This is a great honor and hopefully will facilitate further good work. Second, I'm curious to know if any of her writing has appeared in any African language. Part of the reason for asking is that while she apparently writes & publishes in English, none of the numerous translations of her work listed at http://www.l3.ulg.ac.be/adichie/cnabiblio.html include African languages (although the list of languages includes such diversity as Lithuanian, Serbian, Turkish, and Japanese).
