It's ridiculous, every studies shows that by using African languages to teach
our children you improve their grades in all subjects including science, math
and surprisingly even foreign languages (as a second language) like english.
This was done by comparing group of children learning in their African
languages and the other in imported English/French languages. Children having
studied in their own languages had better grades in all subjects even in
french/english as a second languages!!! It's related how the brain works to
store information. Also, it's important for cultural and social aspect.
