SEMOGA BERMANFAAT:
Imam asy-Syafi’i –rahimahullah- pernah ditanya tentang arti delapan kata
berikut:
wajib, lebih wajib, menakjubkan, lebih menakjubkan, sulit, lebih sulit,
dekat dan lebih dekat.
Lalu beliau menjawabnya dalam beberapa bait syair berikut:
مِنْ وَاجِبِ النَّاسِ أَنْ يَتُوْبُـوْا لَكِنَّ تَـرْكَ
الذُّنُـوْبِ أَوْجَـبُ
وَ الدَّهْرُ فِي صَرْفِهِ عَجِيْـبٌ وَ غَفْلَـةُ
النَّاسِ عَنْـهُ أَعْجَـبُ
وَالصَّبْرُ فِي النَّائِبَاتِ صَعْبٌ لَكِنَّ فَوَاتَ
الثَّـوَابِ أَصْـعَبُ
وَكُلُّ مَا تَرْتَجِــيْ قَرِيْـبٌ وَالْمَوْتُ
مِنْ دُوْنِ ذَلِكَ أَقْـرَب
Bertaubat bagi manusia adalah perkara wajib
Namun meninggalkan segala dosa itu lebih wajib
Perubahan pada masa adalah suatu yangmenakjubkan
Namun lalainya manusia dari semua itu lebih menakjubkan
Bersabar tatkala musibah datang adalah perkara sulit (bagi hati)
Namun berlalunya pahala begitu saja lebih sulit (bagi diri)
Segala sesuatu yang engkau harapkan adalahdekat
Namun datangnya kematian itu adalah lebih dekat
