The lossless compressed result is not the same file anymore, it doesn't contain all the information therefore. It just so happens to re-generate back the exact file. Some lossless decompressors take longer to decompress also. And Lossy (when expect all data to return) takes very long - maybe years before someone reinvents your missing data.
