Oh the OP meant giving your life up to help your species replicate too, in all 
4, the piggy backing is sorta like hey, i'm stronger, i take your resources and 
spread, the others submit/succumb and say OK under the law of physics (they 
die). The offspring take over the land. As for the 4th way, giving up yourself 
if obsolete, it is same thing, you yourself say OK. Except the parasite is in 
your brain making you suicide when 'it' sees you are out of shape.
