China has a million Uyghurs in reeducation camps, but that's still a lower
imprisonment rate than the US, where prisons do the opposite of
rehabilitation. China also has 1/10 the homicide rate and just surpassed
the US in life expectancy this year.

Their economy will do the same. I had thought that China might follow the
lead of Hong Kong and the US in opening their internet to grow their
economy, but it looks like their economy is growing just fine and the rest
of the world is following.
