It's more complicated than an "either or". We have ourselves
pretentious people in ivory towers telling people that they're not
allowed to get help from AI on a headache diagnosis, while their own
jobs are being eliminated for the "greater good of humanity", while
the cost savings are not passed onto customers (per Hacker News
commentary) or even shorter employee workweeks (ref: Meta's CTO). When
people are treated like this, they're going to vote against the noise.
