You say "what I call x" twice, where x is in: ["Semi-Strong AI", "Conceptual Integration"] I think that you may derive some answers for your speculations if you were to (more) formally define your concept of these terms that you have in your questions. Let us know your definitions, and then I think you'll get some really interesting discussion going on.
