I'm aware of the different approaches, and of how very, very different
they are from one another.

But by contrast with the approach I am advocating, they all look like
"orthodoxy".  There is a *big* difference between the two sets of ideas.


In that context, and only in that context, it makes sense to talk about
"the present approach to AI".

Is there anywhere I could find a list and description of these
different kinds of AI?.a'u(interest) I'm sure I could learn a lot as
I'm rather new to the f ield.  I'm in
Second year undergard,
Majoring in Cognitive Sciences,
Specializing in Artificial Intelligence,
York University, Toronto, Canada.

So I think such a list would be very beneficial for beginners like me
