To be fair, though, R1698 should have some protection against the
definition or effect of the passage of time being changed. That's how B
 Nomic ended up dying, after all, so there's actual precedent that it's
possible to accidentally kill a nomic by defining time to not flow.

Anyone got ideas for the wording?
