This ratio strikes me as likely making Spendies mostly pointless, and the "fixed asset" restriction also pointless – the cost of converting between the currencies is very small compared to the benefits. As such, Pyrite can be easily traded by converting to Spendies, and Spendies can be easily hoarded by converting to Pyrite. Historically, for mechanics like this, we've normally used much larger ratios (e.g. 2 to 1 rather than 1.1 to 1), in order to prevent the currencies effectively coalescing into a single mega-currency with all the benefits of both. -- ais523
