Matthew or anyone else, I'm wondering about something. I'm just reading over some tutorials on spawning bots and monsters and entities and such, (lol say that three times fast! <smile>) and I came across one from the AI Cafe by the author of the bot code which Audio Quake uses,and he references setting an entities origin directly, as in:

bot.origin = blah blah blah...

I've read everywhere else not to do this and that it's bad for the game and may crash it, and that you should use only setorigin to change an entity's position unless you're using the physics of the world. Why the diff in technique and coding?, and is the above, proper coding?...
  thanks so much and have a great weekend!...

Smiles,

Mod
