Hello all,
I will try that mod, just after i finish this post, grins, but i have a
feeling that it will be just as awesome as jq is right now.
About how to install it, you can press enter on the qmod file, or you
can unzip it to a directory, just make sure you did with qmod.ini, or
that ini file, which comes with the mod, so aq will recognize it.
Just an idea, would it be hard to transfer some features from
overkill to jq? Like the two weapon modes.
See ya soon,
Rob

Cara, have tried out the overkill, and I love it! It rocks the world,
and my headset! But a question, I noticed 2 impulses. Impulse 40,
with
I belive is the mode switcher, then there is impulse 43. what, does
impulse 43 do? Have bound it, but nothing seems to happen. And
what
other impulses are there I can play with? Regards Dallas

   Hi Shaun et al'

As I'd mentioned in my earlier note, Overkill is the title Matthew
initially gave the set of mods on Derek London's server, Le Toilet
Bowl. As for them being new, actually, Edit, (Derek) was I believe,
the first mod author for Audio Quake, aside from the Audio Quake mod
itself. <smile> So they're definitely not new, and were part of the
inspiration for my own mods.

Regarding there not being as many mods as compared with JQ, I'm
    not
sure that's true. First off, there is an entire second set of weapons
from

the eight that you start with, and also several impulses that do all
sorts of crazy mayhem, in addition to the ability to add monsters to
your deathmatches.

So you can see, this is quite a developed mod. <smile>

Anyway, I hope this answers your questions, and as I said, Derek
   and I
will be adding docs and bindings and such.

Have a great evening and chat with you soon!...

Smiles,

Cara
