I've realised I have a good few posts to catch up on re map editing, but
I hope to do that soon. My main concern now is to get the docs up to
date so that people could build their own copies of the game and make
releases. I will soon (hopefully) want people to help me by suggesting
improvements to the documentation I'm writing so that they can do that.
I think it would also be good for people who are interested to sign up
to the Wiki so they can improve it too.

QuArK does automate the build and test process, I think the setup is
quite complicated but is accessible from the menus, buried deep in the
settings dialogue box, there is a section that allows you to point the
program at your map compilation tools.

Cool re finding a program to decompile BSPs!

I would like to work on the map editing stuff (some of you have made
awesome suggestions!) with you and possibly as part of my research after
I've made sure that people can access the whole game as it is now
without major help; then maybe I could even hand over the making of
releases to the community.

I really want to help you make AQ your own, then I can work wiht you on
improving and and also doing the ``next big thing'', hehe.

best regards,
