At first, I am really sorry... I didn't expect to cause so much reactions. I
mean, Cara, I already knew you hadn't time enough, and as you said it, I
only need your help to be introduced into the code details, I mean for
understanding everything... For the moment, I haven't time enough myself, to
read the whole zquake and a q code because I just began my new school year.
Secondly, maybe I didn't explan it very well... In fact, for the moment I
haven't done any modifications on the code itselves, I only modified some
details in the configs so that I could provide a more detailed and powerfull
config.
In fact, Toni, I really would like working with you, so that in the first
time, you can tell me about your experience in AQ, and then work together!
By the way, I think I'll have to buy the full version to be able to continue
developing... at least I think so.
So that everybody knows it, I just would like to give you a little trick.
When sometimes you try connecting, you will be told "checking sounds...
checking models..." and then, nothing happens. Actually, I managed a
solution. It is available in the config I made for the new release, but here
it is so that you already can use it. Once you hear "checking models", if
nothing seems to happen, type
name connect
of course, connect is the name I use... You can type what you want, name
qwerty for example.
Once done, simply type reconnect. That time, you will be able to enter in
game. Once in, go back to the console and enter your real name. In the new
version that has been managed with aliases... you'll see :)
Oh and before I forget it... Does somebody has a documentation of all the
zquake commands? Because I saved the all that with the "cmdlist, cvarlist,
and macrolist" commands. But there are a lot of commands I don't understand.
For example, the +jrf and -jrf... It seems to be something like jumping,
fireing a rocket, and then keep looking up... not sure lol!
