The summary is: thank you very much for the input. There is a lot I want to
clarify and explain below, but if you're in a rush: we have been trying to
set up a Google Group but it's been fraught with glitches brought about by
the new UI. It now seems the group has been half-created so we are trying
to get this sorted out -- please bear with us.

Thanks for the input! Just to clarify on the code front first: the latest
"official" code, including the Level Description Language, but probably an
outdated version of the game itself, is on Launchpad at
<https://launchpad.net/agrip>, but I think that the latest actually used
code, i.e. JediQuake, is on ModGirl's site (linked from agrip.org.uk). I
would (nor could or should) have no objection to the community moving the
official code to Google Code, BitBucket, GitHub or anything else, as long as
it's accessible for you all. Everyone has always been welcome to sign up to
Launchpad to keep the code alive. At the time we chose it, it seemed to be
both the most accessible and the easiest-to-use version control system. If
that's changed, by all means let us know -- on the new Google Group (details
coming up).

Thanks also for the interest in LDL; I think this is actually the best thing
about AQ today, as it's no longer a current mainstream game, but it does
give very powerful modding and level-editing tools. In light of this
interest, I will do my best to find some time to check it still works; due
to my situation I can't give guarantees but I'll do my best.

It seems that Launchpad does mailing lists, but only for members of a team,
so given that Google Groups is apparently accessible enough, I have set up a
Google Group (see below for address). The advantage of this is that, should
the project move to Google Code, we get that integration. It may be
possible to post to the Google Group via email; we're not sure if you have
to have a Google account yet but we think there may be a way around that.

We'll get back to you when the bugs in the group have been sorted out.

best regards,

Matthew and Sebby
