Can some or all of these transformations and distribution issues be comfortably
eliminated using a non-parametric bootstrap approach to kriging? Not being an
academic having easy access to a library, and not being affluent enough/willing
to pay for on-line journal articles without seeing the content first, delving
into the approach is not easy. I know that there has been some work in the area
and a few pdfs using parametric bootstrap are available, but I am yet to find
that nice introductory "aha!" document which which I can 'bootstrap' my
understanding of the topic. Is there one?

I am specifically referring to material involving bootstrap techniques in
kriging and not bootstrap in general--I've got plenty of good stuff there. I am
also dusting off Chernick's Practitoner's Guide to see what is there but it's
content is typically not "aha!" quality (for me).

Regards,
Michael
