Hi all, there has been some confusion about the language system in Aiki, and the different ways to operate on it.
I took some time to clarify the latest on this here: http://aikiframework.org/wiki/Language_Support The confusing part is that there is the old bassel L10N system and the new Gettext system (both built on the database) that rg1024 built. They both co-exist and they both rely upon the aiki_languages table to get information about a language. Does this help clarify where we are at? As for the translation system that Jcubic built on top of json-rpc. Jcubic, what code repository is this stored in? That code should be modular and be stored somewhere. Also, could you make a wiki page about this so it is clear how to use this system on other aiki sites? Making sure the language support documentation is clear also helped me find some places that we could use some improvement in the code.
