Hi Folks,

Any headway into this project? Can we help in any way?

Metadata catalog is a good and needed component for Airavata. We are looking
for volunteers who can bridge to Airavata with data management projects like
Apache OODT [1]. Also, if you are looking for parsers to extract metadata, you
can look at projects like Tikka [2]. We will greatly appreciate contributions
from your team in bridging these data management gap. Please email us if you
have any questions. If you are working offline on this project, can we please
encourage you to use the dev mailing list for interactions so we can provide
inputs. Also, can you suggest a name for the project you are working on, so we
can create a google code project (apache extras) and have it send emails to
airavata commit mailing list?
