Duration: 6 Plus Months
Rate: $68/Hour C2C*
Please read carefully the requirements listed below for a Sr. Functional
Consultant - Oracle AR. This position will be located in Windsor , CT.
(It is possible that there could be 1 or 2 trips to Livonia , MI . The
length of the trips would be 2 to 3 days each.)
*Overview:*
Leads the research of business processes/systems, captures requirements &
drives functional design activities for AR, Invoicing & Collections for R12
Order to Cash project. Participates in planning & execution of testing of
design. Reports to project Functional Team Leader & Project Manager.
*
Primary Responsibilities:*
Productively interacts with business partners and has a solid
understanding of future state requirements as defined by the project team.
Leads requirements gathering & functional design sessions for AR,
Invoicing and Collections under the direction of the project Functional
Leader
Prepares functional designs
Identifies & recommends where standard Oracle R12 functionality will
meet requirements
Performs complexity & risk assessments for proposed functional solutions
Leads functional design review sessions with business partners
Participates in test planning & execution
Compiles and summarizes organizational and process information from the
business partner
Adheres to IT standards and processes
Assists with preparation of presentations and demonstrations
Performs data collection tasks and leads/participates in requirement
gathering/collection
Directs the creation of training documents/materials and leads business
partners’ training sessions
Recommends creative ways to address business partners’ needs
Works with business partners to facilitate understanding of scope, in
terms they can understand
*Skills and Qualifications:*
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university and 6 or more
years related experience
Demonstrated experience with customizing Oracle R12 Invoicing, AR &
Collections workflows
Extensive knowledge and experience in Oracle R12 Invoicing, AR &
Collections implementations
Must have excellent communication, organizational & leadership skills.
Must have an understanding of Oracle AIM methodology
Experience with conversion from Oracle R11 to R12 financial applications
highly desirable
