Job Description:
One of my clients in Windsor, CT is looking for a Software Development
Technical Lead for a 4+ month project. This candidate will be accountable
for delivery of all development deliverables. This candidate is expected to
reverse engineer an application to understand and document the code and
leverage this knowledge to develop new functionality using the SDLC
methodology. Moreover, the candidate will supervise a developer assigned to
the project. This developer will work out of the India office.
· Analyze the architecture and code of an application
1 With little supervision, reverse engineer the application
2 Use the acquired knowledge to lead the development of new
functionality. The candidate will make use of the SDLC Methodology to:
· Deliver Design Documents (Functional Specification, Architecture
Impact , Technical Design)
1 Develop New Code
2 Lead and Document Structured Code Reviews
3 Provide Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Test Support
4 Provide Production Rollout and Production Rollout Support
· Partner with Infrastructure Lead to migrate the application to a
Citrix platform
1 Partner with Project Manager and Infrastructure Tech Lead
(estimates, status, risk management)
*Expert development experience with:*
- VB.NET WinForms (Framework 2.0/Visual Studio (VS) 2005)
- ADO.NET (Framework 2.0/VS 2005)
- VB.NET ASP.NET Web Services (Framework 2.0/ VS 2005)
- ADO.NET (Framework 2.0/ VS 2005) using MS SQL Server
- Development experience with MS .NET Enterprise Libraries (Framework
2.0/ VS 2005)
- Development experience with .NET Remoting (Framework 2.0/ VS 2005)
- Development experience interfacing with Citrix XenApp or other
Citrix Remote Desktop components
- Experience using Citrix XenApp
- Experience using VMWare
- Heathcare, working with ECG / EKG experience preferred
- Experience developing with prior versions of VB.Net and VB.6
preferred
- Exposure to Visual Studio 2008 preferred
- Experience developing with the CardioComm SDK preferred
