Falls, WI* *Duration: 7 Months +* *Project:* Client’s Information Systems Infrastructure Service Delivery group is seeking highly qualified and experienced system architects and administrators. The Service Delivery team provides production support for various systems hosted within the corporate datacenters. In order to meet the anticipated demand for IT Infrastructure support during the upcoming Holiday season, Client is seeking several resources to provide 2nd and 3rd level support of Informatica, Weblogic and Micro strategy systems. *Skills:* Middleware - Weblogic Architect/Administrator. UNIX, Windows, MQ Series, Korn Shell, WLST, Wily Introscope Experience supporting a large production environment *Primary Responsibilities:* · Administer WebLogic and WebSphere environments for several in-house-developed and vendor-supplied applications. · Assist in setting-up/verifying the UNIX application environment. · Automate the administration of the application run-time environment where possible. · Provide production control support primarily in the UNIX and application server environment. · Ability to install, configure and support any type of application server software whether it be vendor specific or a proprietary product as long as proper specs and internal resource guidance are provided · Provide direction and training to application development teams in the UNIX and application server environment. · Evaluate software packages, ensuring that they fit within Client’s architecture and infrastructure. · Provide timely and accurate on-call support for production infrastructure components. · Provide training or mentoring to large groups on tools or architecture concepts as needed. *Qualifications:* · In-depth knowledge of UNIX environment from an architecture perspective. · In-depth understanding of the UNIX file system · Korn shell programming is required; Perl programming a plus. · Senior level experience in Application Server Administration, prefer Web Logic and Web Sphere. · Leadership skills to work with multiple support and application teams. · Must display willingness to accept responsibility, take initiative, use good judgment and maintain a positive attitude. · Must be able to act decisively and promptly while maintaining a high level of accuracy. · Regular attendance is key to performing the job.
