.Net Lead
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Duration -12 months +
Face to Face after telephonic round.
Application Grid .NET Developer is responsible for integrating
open-source solutions and vendor products into the application cloud
solution through building abstraction layers on top of distributed
resource orchestration and data persistence systems, integration with
the existing monitoring and operational support environment and
deployment tools.
Candidates should be well versed in web programming, .NET platform and
various components of the ASP.NET stack. Experience with persistence
frameworks and relational databases such as MS SQL Server or Oracle is
a required. Familiarity with Microsoft Azure is a plus. Ability to
learn new technologies quickly in a self-driven manner is critical.
This is a senior-level position: additional duties include
participation in the architectural analysis and design of the system
and mentoring other developers on the team.
Qualifications-see remarks
• Strong experience in .NET development and software design methodology;
• Full development lifecycle and support tool experience;
• IIS, ASP.NET, Web Services;
• RDBMS (MS SQL, Oracle) and general understanding of transactional
persistence;
• Good understanding of n-tier web applications with distributed
components;
• Self-motivated and Responsible, able to own and drive a project when
necessary;
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, ability to diagnose
and support ‘highly-visible’ systems;
• Strong Documentation ability;
Optional Experience
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python);
• Experience with integrated heterogeneous environments (C, C++, .NET,
Python);
• Familiarity with Windows Azure;
• Windows Network Load Balancing (WNLB).
• IIS Application Request Routing (AAR);
• Sprint.NET;
