One problem that I suspect you will run into, Frank, is the !...@#$%^&*
Alfetta shift mechanism. Unless you use one from a Milano, it's damn
near useless. I have seen articles that show how to build and install
a racing-style shift mechanism, but it's not for the faint of heart
(or anyone without access to a well-equipped machine shop).

Try calling Alfa Parts Exchange in Tracy They can supply you a
complete transaxel, drive shaft (which you will likely need to get
professionally balanced) and a transaxel bell housing for a 2-liter
Alfa 4-cylinder motor.

Hello,
I am currently looking at building a replica car using a 2.0 L Spider
engine and a DeDion rear end from either an Alfetta or GTV. My
question
concerns what bellhousing might work for this. Does anyone have any
suggestions?
I suppose an easier option would be to use the entire drive line
from a
tired Alfetta manual transmission car, but I am having difficulty
finding one in Northern California.
