[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/binutils-2.16.1$ dash ./config.guess i686-pc-linux-gnu Ubuntu do patch dash though (see debian/diff/dash-signed-char-syntax.diff and debian/diff/eval-exit-status.diff in http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/d/dash/dash_0.5.3-3ubuntu4.diff.gz).
