Oh, also I think I computed the elapsed time by dividing by 1000. Obviously, this is bad and should be CLOCKS_PER_SEC to get the right time on linux. But even still, doesn't that make your results something like 76 seconds and 89 seconds? Seems like an very long time to sort 5 MB of integers, no?
