Sorry, but this IS a real issue. I have been installing everything from SO5.2
to OOo1.1.4 on NT4, W2K and XP. I know how to install in a multi-user
environment, the set-up guide tells me nothing new, that is how I have been
doing it for at least three years.
File associations DO NOT work under the conditions I have described, please test
them if you don't believe me. I don't think you can have read my comments fully
or you would have realised this. Judging from the forums (SO and OOo) many
other people have the same problem, this is not an isue to be swept under the
carpet. But noone has taken any notice. That is why I raised the issue here.
