Well, it's been 20 months since I first reported this problem. I remember that
solving this issue was targeted OOo 2.0 but I have just tried the 1.9.65
developer version and the issue is still there. What it surprised me is that it
keeps working perfectly with my Lucida Sans Unicode font. I can provide the font
so you can figure out what it is going *right* with it. Let me remind you that
this is an OO.org (Linux Version) issue and not a general Linux problem since
Gnome (thanks Pango) and KDE handle Hebrew diacritics very nicely.
