To Whom It May Concern,

I am using version 1.9.71.1 of OpenOffice.org. While using the OpenOffice Base
application on my Windows XP based x86 machine, I run into an error. First, I
open a new database from the File menu. After creating a new database with the
default settings and saving the file into as an OpenDocument Database, I then
proceed to the Tables button on the Database pane. After clicking the Tables
button, I receive the following error. The Conncetion to the data source
"file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/bob/My ..."
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError . When I click the more button, this is what I
receive. Under Information: The connection to the data source
"file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/bob/My%20Documents/New%20Database7.odb"
could not be established. Under Error: Error code: -1
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError . I have tried uninstalling both OpenOffice and
Java Runtime and installing Java Runtime version 5 and then reinstalling
OpenOffice, however I still am faced with the same problem.

Thank in advance for looking into this problem,
