------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Sep 14 02:42:21 -0700 2005 ------- In Oo2.0 password protected spreadsheets can be saved as MSExcel spreadsheets. By then the password is removed. This makes the excelent Ooo password protection meaningless. http://specs.openoffice.org/appwide/interoperability/Import_Password_Protected_M S_Office_Files.sxw says: "The export of a password protected document in MS Office format is not supported in OO.org 2.0. Therefore we have to inform user, that the document cannot be encrypted when saving in a MS Office format and thus the password protection of his data gets lost on saving the document." This is right-thinking creating a bug out of politeness. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
