OK, this is getting pretty ridiculous. I just tried the RC1 with the same
result. Everything's fine under Gnome but OO does not start under KDE. Why
isn't anyone even looking at this problem? I am willing to provide any data or
trace but am not sure where to start. This problem is very consistent on this
particular machine, and that should be a good sign for someone who takes the
product quality SERIOUSELY!!!

I have followed the suggestion regarding the library link issue and reported
negative result. I have spent the time to reproduce this problem on 3 different
builds - beta1 (m122), beta2 (m125), and RC1. Instead, I get no response
whatsoever.

I know everyone is pretty busy and many folks are contributing to this code
base based on their own time. But, as a community, it is a sad state of affair
when a willing newbie like me wants to try OO and contribute by reporting
problems found yet is COMPLETELY ignored without even a peep. Should I take
this as a sign of f*** off attitude and stop my effort to try to use OO? At
this point, I can not use OO because of this VERY CONSISTENT problem on my Linux
and am forced to resort back to KOffice.
