I suggest, to use the original terms of the unicode tables for the English
terms. So it would be
1. NO-BREAK SPACE
4. SOFT HYPHEN
5. NON WIDTH NON-JOINER
6. NON WIDTH JOINER

For German I found in Microsoft
http://office.microsoft.com/de-de/assistance/HP030745581031.aspx
the term
6. nullbreites Verbindungszeichen
which I think is a good translation.

In German it should be
4. bedingter Trennstrich
because it will be a dash and not another character
