------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Nov 21 16:23:09 -0800 2005 ------- I've just installed the latest version of OpenOffice on three PCs, all of which are running Win98 SE. In all three cases, after the completion of the installation, OpenOffice appears to execute correctly. However, on one PC, even though OO works, I can not reboot. The PC hangs duing the boot process. The only "fix" I've been able to make is to restore from a previous good copy of the registry. The downside is that, though "installed", OpenOffice is effectively not registered / installed as far as the registry is concerned so the registry restore blows my use of OO out of the water at that point. I've installed and run previous versions of OpenOffice on this PC without a problem, and, yes, I went back and uninstalled the older versions, just to make sure. Additionally, I've performed the installation process 3 times on the PC in question with the same results each time. Effectively, I can't use OpenOffice on the PC of my choice until I resolve this issue. The PC in question runs Windows 98 SE, is a Pentium III, 550 MHz., 384 MB, and 120 GB of disk space. I'd appreciate any help or insights anyone may have for this problem. Thanks, in advance.
