My understanding is that Preferences -directory is used when you have a single xml-formatted file for your settings, e.g. org.openoffice2.0.plist However, OpenOffice uses many files and directories for settings, currently all of them located under ~/.openoffice.org2/. In this situation the correct place is under "Application Support", not "Preferences" --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
