------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Mar 17 07:04:58 -0800 2006 ------- @maho: If I summarize correctly, MacOSX 10.3 Panther is the only platform that still has only gcc 3.3, all other platforms Linux/BSD can/should switch over to 3.4.1? I am a Mac novice. Why support 10.3 when 10.4 (Tiger) is ready to go, coming with a newer gcc? Do Tiger builds run on Panther? @hr: The patch is ok, I can QA it, no prob. But I would prefer to avoid future problems keeping an aligned gcc baseline with Hamburg. What platforms break except MacOSX 10.3? Is it reasonable to switch to gcc 3.4.1? --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
