And no one said this is a feature, both CGU as a qa guy and I as a developer think that this is an issue, lets call it bug. And I respect that this is one of your personal issues and if you take a look at the other issues, everyone has theire favorite issue. Now I fixed a lot of issues, back to the days when only Marco told us what to do, so I know one developer can only fix so much issues and implement so many features a day. So yes I agree your issue is a bug, but as long as we have open stability issues, open interoperability issues, open ease of use issues, open missing importent feature issues I'm very sorry that this issue is targeted for Office Later. I could target it for something else but that would be unrealistic. On a side note, since we are not complete blockheads, we already work on something that will enhance programability of the impress user interface. For that we kill most of the bloatware that where introduced to the OpenOffice code during the days of StarDivision and replace it with a streamlined and very modern Model-View-Controller concept. When this is finished, your performance issue should be gone. But thats a great deal of work and I can't say when it will be finished. So I'm not sure if you are personally pissed of by sun, but currently I'm sitting in my office in hamburg without air condition at currently 34 grad celcius, making unpaid overtime work to make impress a better product.
