Hi Berit. Thanks for forwarding this request. Just to clarify the scope of this:
we are talking about very few (~ 2 out of 10) sample macros/scripts, which
provide explanatory text. The remaining macros don't provide any text at all.
Unfortunately, these descriptions are mere development features - from
developers for developers, so to speak. In fact they are generated by comments
in the script source code. As with all our scripts and macros, we don't localize
commentary strings. So this is not a missing localization, but it works "as
designed".
If there are serious requests to localize these strings we have two choices:
1. delete them entirely, so even the English version would not provide them any
more, or
2. invest engineering time into creating a L10N-friendly resource system, that
is capable of handling source code comments, too.
In my opinion, the second option doesn't pay off. If the English strings don't
cause too much trouble, I would vote for keeping everything as is. If you tell
us that this is unacceptable, we have to go with option #1.
