The changes were introduced in m79, and I know of a lot of people, who can build this sucessfully. It shouldn't have changed in m80. - Did you build an m79 ? - Do you build for a special language, do you have a special locale activated ? As this problem makes creating installation sets impossible, you may think about temporarily removing the python component in scp2 (have a look at scp2/source/python/file_python.scp and decomment the section around pythonscript.py). You will not be able to use python scripts via the Tools/Macro dialog.
