No need for this. For the compiler the use of guw.exe is handled by configure.
It's controlled by the env. variables CC and CXX. You just have to remove the
guw.exe in front of CC and CXX in your *env.set.sh.

Unfortunately for mingw gcc you will need guw.exe.
