->CD: I am out of ideas.  The last fix (hack) (see slideshowimpl.cxx,1.9.14.4)
was to post a user event in updateHdl which is the latest point to do this as
far as I could see. When you start a presentation with a custom animation for
one shape on the first slide, the fix works, but not for an empty presentation
or one without object effects. This looks strongly like a timing problem, i.e.
the user event might come too early.
I still have no idea why the navigator disappears when it is shown after the
slideshow window. Obviously, the fact that the slideshow window is painted has
an influence on the navigator's visibility (CL promised me that after the
slideshow window is shown, the running slideshow does not change the window
z-order).
Please have another look at this. Maybe this can be fixed somewhere in sfx2 or
in vcl.
