------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Nov 26 04:17:53 -0800 2006 ------- OpenOffice.org Writer Help for the Insert > Fields > Other > Variables tab has no clear description for the Value entry: "Value Enter the contents that you want to add to a user-defined fields. In the Format list, define if the value is inserted as text or a number." Given the ambiguity of the above help, I tried various entries (e.g., "text", "number", "1", "A", etc.) and nothing appeared to work. I suggest that OpenOffice.org Writer Help clearly tell the user what data type and values can be entered into the Value field. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
