Under Load/Save, please give all settings. Under Paths, you state that you have user data set to a server, can you try this with the user data on the local MacIntosh HD? The user data should be in /Users/<your user name/Library/Application Support and is named OpenOffice.org 2.0 as a folder. Thank you.
