I have never had a problem dragging text around in a document, right up to version 2.02 on Ubuntu Dapper amd64. But after upgrading to Edgy amd64 and OOo 2.04 I can no longer drag and drop text around. I also cannot drag and drop a text selection onto the Stylist window to create a new style. Meantime, I can drag and drop text fine in Firefox and AbiWord, and any other application that supports drag and drop of text. I've spent hours researching trying to figure out what is wrong, but to no avail. I have done a complete removal and reinstall without success. I have found half a dozen other Ubuntu Edgy amd64 users with the same problem, and none of them have found a solution. At the very least it would be a help if I could find out what libraries and modules the drag and drop of text uses. Then I could reinstall them.
