--More useful options:
* Whether to sort images when adding a whole directory. (Digital cameras often
create chronologically-coded file names.)
* Whether to link or embed images.
* Whether to downsample images: to current screen resolution, to a few preset
resolutions (1280x, 1024x, 800x, 640x), or no downsampling

--A usage scenario:
You went on a trip and have 100 pictures you want to show people. You want to
quickly import all the pictures, and then you want to manually add titles to a
few slides. (I experienced this scenario, and it was somewhat painful in
OpenOffice.org.)

--The downsampling is important for a few reasons:
* OpenOffice.org has poor performance with 100 high-resolution images. For
example, try doing a save to PowerPoint---or quickly advancing slides.
* What monitor can show all the pixels of today's high-resolution digital
cameras?
* Disk storage
* Transmission over e-mail, Internet, etc.

--There is an unmaintained Photo Album OOo macro that only inserts multiple
images into a new file. Unfortunately, it has no options except the selection
of images.
