It is always as small as it is possible on the screen, regardless of the zoom level. You can see the property of this special line, if you compare a 0.00 line width with a 0.01 line width with zooming to 1000%. To get an invisible line, you have set the line style to "invisible". But you are right, There isn't any explanation in the help (at least I found nothing).
