When a cell inside the autofilter area is selected, the mark on the autofilter menu item is visible and the autofilter can be switched off by selecting the menu item. On the contrary, when a cell outside the autofilter area is selected, the mark on the menu item disappears and the autofilter cannot be switched off. Instead an error message window reports "Autofilter not possible".
