I am still confused. I don't understand the logic that in Print Layout mode
Writer can edit the locked file in the second window, but in Web layout mode it
can't. MS Word, AbiWord and Kword do it without any problem. BTW, MS Word and
AbiWord have three modes: Normal, Print and Web Layouts. Kword has Page and
Text modes. Writer has only Print and Web layouts. In most of cases I work with
soft copy of documents. The most of documents I created was never printed and
are intended for on-line work only. Why should I deal with page breaks? In MS
Word, AbiWord I would work in Normal Layout mode. In Kword it is text mode.
In Writer I use Web layout for such case, however from unclear for me reason it
doesn't allow me to edit the second instance of the same document.

And one more comment. I didn't find in Help that in Web Layout mode the second
instance is read-only. I wasted long time before I realized why I couldn't edit
the second instance.
