sba,

You apparently didn't read my last post and didn't try to reproduce the bug as I
described it. That's not a problem, a mistake is always possible. But I honestly
think that it's a bit rude to mark my report as "resolved worksforme" without
even waiting a bit for me to answer what you said and add more information...

1. My OOo version is in French (sorry I should have told that). So the option is
to correct "1er" into "1^er", not "1st" into "1^st". And that doesn't work.

2. Have you tried to type "l'essai" (with a quote)? I described that the bug was
appearing because of the quote sentence.

3. The two consecutive spaces replacement has some problems in specific cases.
ostkamp's comment: "I checked the behaviour in OOo 1.1.5 and OOo 2.0.1 and found
the following: If the character immediately left of the current cursor position
is a space, you will not be able to type in another one. BUT: If the character
to the left of the cursor is a nonspace character, and the next character to the
right of the cursor is already a space, you will still be able to type in
another one and end up with two (or more) spaces." Have you checked this
specific behavior?

I understand that you do that (most probably) for free, and that you try to
avoid losing time with unreproductible problems. But here I think that you are
losing your own time because of not reading correctly my post.

That said, I admit I could have been clearer from the beginning...

Thank you.
Olivier
